About The Program
This program is intended for Public Health Midwives to equip themselves with advanced skills and knowledge, which will enable them to play a pivotal role in maternal and child health, family planning, and community health education efforts. By gaining recognition and validation for their expertise, Public Health Midwives can secure better employment opportunities and increase prospects of promotion. Recognizing and upskilling Public Health Midwives not only empowers them individually but also fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the healthcare sector.
Program Objectives
- To promote evidence-based practice in community and public health.
- To create awareness of modern trends in the public community, maternal, and child health.
- To provide an overall knowledge of ethics and medical legal aspects of healthcare service, elderly care, nutrition across the life span, and inspection control.
- To provide knowledge in public policy making, international health system, and management of non-communicable diseases and health promotion.
