The International School of Western Australia (ISWA) Sri Lanka is affiliated with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA), under the Government of Western Australia. ISWA provides a world-class education tailored to help our students succeed in their academic journeys.

The first program is the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE). This is a TWO-YEAR program covering Years 11 and 12. Upon successful completion of the WACE, students will be awarded:

• The Tertiary Entrance Aggregate (TEA), followed by an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), which is essential for university entrance.
• The Western Australian Certificate of Education itself, a recognized qualification across the globe.
• The Western Australian Statement of Student Achievement (WASSA), a formal record of their achievements.

We also offer the OLNA—Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment, which provides an exemption from IELTS.

Next, we offer the WAM Matriculation Program International, which is a ONE-YEAR fast-track program, specifically for Year 12 students. Upon completion of this program, students will also receive:

• An Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
• The Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
• The Western Australian Statement of Student Achievement (WASSA).

This fast-track option is ideal for those who want to accelerate their academic progress.

We also provide the Year 11 ATAR Preparatory Program. This is a 3-month program that prepares students for the WACE, particularly if they:

• Completed their previous schooling in the Sinhala or Tamil medium.
• Did not secure C passes for English, Mathematics, or Science subjects.

This preparation ensures that all students are ready to meet the challenges of our curriculum.
