IIHS Launches ‘Empower H’ Digital Health Platform and Conducts Preventive Health Screening at SLBC
The International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS) has taken a major stride in advancing community wellness with the launch of Empower H, an innovative digital health platform designed to transform preventive care in Sri Lanka. Built on AI-driven insights, real-time health tracking, and a rewards-based wellness model, Empower H. aims to strengthen early detection, encourage healthier lifestyles, and support long-term wellbeing across communities.
As part of this initiative, IIHS carried out a comprehensive Health Screening Program at the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), offering preventive healthcare services directly to SLBC employees. The program focused on early identification of health risks and providing personalised guidance to promote healthier habits among staff.
The screening was made possible with the support of Prof. Uditha Gayashan Gunasekara, Chairman of SLBC; Mr. Harendra Liyanage, Director of Marketing; and Ms. Lakmali Padmasiri, Senior Communications Officer. Their collaboration reflects a shared commitment to enhancing workplace wellbeing and fostering accessible health services for all.
The introduction of Empower H, coupled with the SLBC health screening, underscores IIHS’s broader mission to build healthier communities and champion sustainable, innovative approaches to healthcare. Through strategic partnerships and technology-driven solutions, IIHS continues to lead efforts in preventive health and community empowerment.
