IIHS Multiversity Partners with University of Surrey to Launch Globally Recognised BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies Top-Up in Sri Lanka

The International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS) Multiversity is proud to announce a transformative new academic partnership with the prestigious University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. This collaboration introduces the BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies (Top-Up) programme to Sri Lanka, providing a direct pathway for graduates of the IIHS Advanced Diploma in Nursing to attain a full honours degree awarded by a globally recognised UK university.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in our shared vision with the University of Surrey’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences to promote excellence in nursing education, global health development, and workforce empowerment. Key themes of this collaboration include:
- Joint programme delivery, enhancing academic quality and student engagement
- Internationally co-designed CPD courses, enriching learning opportunities for global healthcare professionals
- Faculty and student exchange opportunities, fostering intercultural academic collaboration
- Articulation pathways through the School of Psychology for future delivery of BSc Psychology and MSc Psychology Conversion programmes as part of a broader MSci framework

The Advanced Diploma in Nursing at IIHS has long been celebrated for its depth and quality. It offers students comprehensive training across multiple core areas, including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, community health, and nursing leadership. This solid academic and clinical foundation helps students cultivate:

Building on this foundation, the BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies (Top-Up) programme equips students to:
