Programme Overview

The MSc in Nutritional Medicine is an advanced postgraduate programme that integrates human nutrition, clinical nutrition, functional and integrative medicine, public health nutrition, and research. Students develop the critical appraisal, research, and professional skills to plan and evaluate evidence informed nutrition interventions for individual and population health, within their professional scope of practice.

Programme Objectives

The programme aims to develop graduates and health professionals with advanced expertise in nutritional medicine who can critically evaluate evidence, design and evaluate appropriate nutrition interventions, conduct high quality research, and promote ethical, sustainable, and person centered practice within their professional scope.Programme Learning OutcomesUpon successful completion of this programme, student will be able to;

  • Critically evaluate and integrate advanced knowledge of nutritional medicine, clinical nutrition, and public health nutrition into professional practice.

  • Design, implement, and evaluate evidence based nutritional interventions that support disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of complex health conditions.

  • Critically appraise and apply research evidence using appropriate methodologies to advance nutritional medicine practice.

  • Demonstrate leadership, ethical practice, multidisciplinary collaboration, and professional judgement in contemporary healthcare environments.
