Physiotherapists are specialists in variety of areas such as musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, orthopaedic, sports medicine, rehabilitation, paediatrics, Obstetrics and gynaecology. This qualification provides the opportunity to develop into a qualified competent practitioner of physiotherapy. - Demonstrate an understanding of basic sciences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, molecular genetics, immunology and microbiology.
- Understand the factors and processes which contribute to human health and disease.
- Execute independent research centered on data generation, demonstrate critical analysis and application of results obtained.
- Design research protocols and use statistical techniques to enable valid analysis and interpretations of experimental results.
- Use effectively transferable skills in communication, IT, numeracy and data analysis, team working, critical thinking, setting tasks, problem-solving and self-management.
- Take account of and act in accordance with health and safety policies, ethical considerations.

After completion of the Advanced Diploma of Physiotherapy, students can follow BSc in Physiotherapy, MSc in Advancing Physiotherapy Practice offered by Coventry university or any other relevant fields.

Students must meet the qualifications outlined in any of the following requirements;
- Ordinary Level (Local or London) – 5 passes including English and Science, C pass is required for English Language or equivalent (ex: pre-foundation- TVEC registered).
- Advanced Level 3 passes in any stream or equivalent (ex: foundation- TVEC registered).
OR
- IIHS Foundation in Biological Sciences or other recognized Foundation Qualification Equivalent to SLQF Level 3 or NVQF Level 5.
