This MedPrep (foundation in pre-medicine) programme is designed for students aspiring to enter healthcare careers, emphasizing medical terminology, communication skills, ethical considerations, and the role of biomolecules in health. Students will master medical vocabulary for effective clinical communication and develop critical skills for teamwork and patient interactions. They will explore medical ethics principles, including justice, autonomy, consent, and capacity, preparing them for complex patient care scenarios. The program also covers key biomolecules—proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids—and their functions in health, linking biochemical concepts to health conditions and treatments.
