BioInquirer showcases the curiosity and research acumen of some of IIHS brightest students and staff. It’s been an incredible platform to take Sri Lankan ideas and people to the world, but also bring the best thoughts and practice to our own shores.
Unique among privately-held Sri Lankan teaching institutions, Bio Inquirer was established by IIHS’s Academic Department under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Nihal De Silva and Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe (Founder & Co-founder of IIHS respectively). It’s an annual publication that aims to bring together best practices and evidence-based reflections of healthcare professionals around the world.
On top of this Bio Inquirer provides a global forum for healthcare and educational professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills and competency along the four following themes:
- 1. Technical development through workshops
- 2. Professional development through conferences
- 3. Evidence-based practice through research forums
- 4. Community development through community engagement.
