Enhancing the scope for health education the International Institute of Health Science (IIHS), having the leadership in Sri Lanka for healthcare training with a history over 18 years, at the same time outspreads the possibility for a one stop shop for all health care training and brings world class education to your door step.
Predominantly being the premier health educator offering Internationally accepted courses at a local price which is at 1/3rd of the cost made affordable to many Sri Lankan students as well as creating opportunities to foreign employment where one could work, study and live a family life uninterrupted.
In 2020 IIHS has expanded its programmes further by introducing Advanced Diplomas in Pharmacy, Advanced Diploma in Optometry and Advanced Diploma in Radiography and Radiotherapy.
Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe (MBBS, MSc, MD (Medical Administration), Founder/ CEO/ Director Academics, Strategy and International Affairs, IIHS, states “The objective of IIHS is to export a skilled work force by offering world class programmes as 3+1 pathways where a student gets the opportunity to study 3 years at IIHS and one year either in well renowned universities in Australia, UK, or Finland. This would lead to registration and employment in the said countries with a greater opportunity to gain Permanent Residency in the countries. Looking at this as a global prospective and contributing to improve its overburdened education system and keep up with the growth, these new additions to the curricula will support allied health professionals in diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and optometric industries effectively, furthering this concept IIHS aims to create Sri Lanka as a regional hub for education . We now not only confine to Health education but also to many other fields of education, this no doubt supports one to focus on a career which is in demand in Sri Lanka and foreign counties”.
