This course provides an opportunity for students to ‘top-up’ existing nursing qualifications to a BSc (Hons) and enhances their academic and professional development, and employability. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their careers by exploring such concepts a leadership, organizational theory, public health, research and evidence-based practice. The qualification equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a nursing career in the United Kingdom (UK) and is supported by the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Coventry University. Students will be introduced to the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards and the NMC test processes.Students become part of Coventry University’s network of global students. Many IIHS students have used this course as a successful, efficient and cost-effective pathway into Britain’s NHS.

After completion of the Bachelor of Nursing, students can follow their Master, Doctor and PhD of Nursing or any healthcare related fields.
After successfully completing the Bachelor of Nursing, you can begin to process through various different roles, including: senior staff nurse, junior sister, nurse practitioner or nurse consultant. The nurse can work in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, elderly care facilities, airlines, professional organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, research organizations and many other healthcare facilities. Nurses can be involved in caring for the sick, rehabilitation, promoting health, preventing disease, teaching health classes, teach in a school of nursing and a host of other activities. Students can either pursue their career in the industry by working as an academic researcher.
