Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Diagnostic Radiography (Top-up)
The BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography course is designed for practitioners of diagnostic radiography in Sri Lanka and other countries who aspire to become a graduate in diagnostic radiography and improve their career prospects. A principal aim of the course is on academic ‘uplift’, – encouraging and enabling diagnostic radiography practitioners to embrace evidence-based practice. The course is a ‘top-up’ qualification and offers students an opportunity to gain a degree with honours in diagnostic radiography. Students who complete Advanced Diploma in Radiography offered by IIHS can continue their academic pathway.

- Reflect on observed experiences and the theoretical lessons
- Assimilate knowledge through blended learning
- Learn through transformational learning (projects), self-directed learning (asynchronous) and experiential learning (mentorship programme)
Program is developed based on the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) guidelines. The programme offers global access and is open not only to local practitioners, but those in other countries, provided they meet the specified entry qualification and English language requirements
Can proceed to postgraduate studies Medical Imaging related fields.
Graduate in Diagnostic Radiography
Can be offered full-time (one year) of part-time (two years)
Completion of a three-year IIHS advanced diploma in Diagnostic Radiography is required by applicants for standard entry.
OR
Applications may be submitted from non-standard entrants with relevant experiential learning and evidence of continuing professional development that shows an ability to study at FHEQ Level 6. These applications will be reviewed by the Course Director in consultation with the Link Tutor.
AND
Students who have not completed their education in English are required to achieve IELTS 6.5 (with no component less than 6.0).
