Description
This qualification is especially suited for teachers, school principals, college lecturers and other education personnel who wish to equip themselves with up-to-date knowledge and specialized skills for continuous personal improvement as well as career enhancement in their profession as a primary school educators.
The program would produce graduates who could plan and implement learning and teaching activities, including assessment, effectively.
Further, enable graduates to carry out other duties and responsibilities efficiently as required of an educator. This qualification is approved and recognized by University Grants Commission and MQA (Malaysian Qualification Authority).

Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka
- Passed Ordinary Level (Local/London) with 5 passes or equivalent qualification certificate with an average of 50% (CGPA 2.00); AND
- English competency requirement with minimum IELTS 5.0/TOFEL 500 or equivalent; AND
- Passed Advanced Level (Local/London), with 3 passes or equivalent qualification with average of 50% (CGPA 2.00); OR
- Passed a recognized Diploma/Teaching certificate from teacher training college
