This program fosters uplifting of current practicing nurses by tailoring training and development initiatives to provide a recognized qualification. Moreover, this project seeks to bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring that nurses have tangible pathways to enter the workforce and effectively contribute to the healthcare industry acquiring leadership roles and career advancements in the system.
To enable the students to achieve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes expected of a “graduate nurse”.
- To enable them to work as independent nursing practitioners with the ability to engage in health care practices in various settings.
- To meet currently accepted local and contemporary international standards recommended for a practicing nurse from professional bodies.
- To access and evaluate current evidence and to base practices upon them.
- To optimize the therapeutic outcome by advising the health care team on aspects concerning nursing.
- To act as role models in both performance and for the future development of nursing and clinical services.
